How Color Came to the World, Folk Tales from Latin America - Shadow Puppet show
Running Time: 45 Minutes | For Ages 3 to 8

​Lights! Color! Action! Storyteller and puppeteer Katie Adams performs Hispanic stories with a dash of Spanish words, a splash of colorful shadow puppets, and audience participation. Stories include 
How Color came to the World, an Aztec myth about the origin of the rainbow, The Proud Cuckoo Bird, a Mayan tale from Mexico, Mariposa Martinez, a favorite tale from Cuba about a butterfly, and Medio Pollito, a folktale from Spain that has traveled all over Latin America. This forty-five minute show emphasizes kindness, tolerance and helping others.

Colorful Magical Creatures: Trickster Tales - Storytelling Show 


Running Time: 45 Minutes | For Ages 3 to 8

Audacious, creative problem-solvers, tricksters delight and amaze us with their humor and magic. Join-in with storyteller Katie Adams as she brings to life trickster folk tales from around the world with colorful scenery and fun props. Laugh-out-loud and ponder the wisdom of Drakestail, a story from France, Raven Brings Light, from the Pacific Northwest, Sean O’Malley and the Wee Folk, an Irish folk tale, and Anansi Frees the Stories from Ghana, Africa.
The show includes a take-home coloring page.
